Patients using long-term respiratory or sleep support treatments are invited to take part in a new international survey aimed at improving future care.
Surveying is part of The importance of the projecta clinical research initiative endorsed by the European Respiratory Society and supported by the European Lung Foundation.
The survey asks about your experiences with treatments such as positive airway pressure (PAP) machines, non-invasive ventilation, and home mechanical ventilation. To simplify questions, all of these devices are referred to as “ventilators,” including the CPAP and BiPAP machines often used for sleep apnea.
The goal is to understand how these treatments are provided and monitored in different countries, and to find out what matters most to patients. Your answers will help guide future international guidelines and support better value-based care.
Participation is voluntary, anonymous, and takes approximately 15-20 minutes. The deadline to submit your answer is Saturday, February 28, 2026.
