Breast cancer – what patients need to know

Natural Health 365 Podcast(Natural Health365) About 1 in 8 women in the United States will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime. In 2016, It is expected that an estimated 246,660 new cases of breast cancer will be diagnosed in women – Across the United States – along with 61,000 new cases of non-surgical breast cancer.

These numbers are staggering, and Western medicine continues to promote a treatment regimen – one that waits until a woman is diagnosed, offering only expensive (and risky) surgeries, toxic chemotherapy agents, and cancer-causing radiation therapy, which fails to treat the root cause of the disease.

Today, on Natural Health 365 PodcastI will introduce you to A cancer survivor committed to helping women naturally overcome their cancer diagnosis – Without fear of harm, and is almost guaranteed to follow conventional medical advice.

Our guest created the Annie Appleseed Project, a non-profit organization that provides information, education, advocacy and awareness to people with cancer and their families and friends interested in complementary or alternative medicine (CAM) and natural remedies from the patient’s perspective.

I’ll be frank: The information you are about to hear could truly be life-saving For someone worried about breast cancer – so, please, share this program with someone you love before it’s too late.

Podcast highlights include:

  • The myth surrounding the “maximum tolerated dose” and why every cancer patient needs to hear this message.
  • The real reason Western medicine is so resistant to learning about successful integrative medical techniques to overcome a cancer diagnosis.
  • A “behind the scenes” look at how traditionally trained doctors view food additives, artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, and pesticides in our food supply. (Based on their opinions expressed at scientific conferences)
  • The surprising (real) meaning of the ‘5-year survival mark’ for cancer patients.
  • Exposed: Why health conferences ignore natural remedies and lifestyle changes.
  • A unique opportunity for every cancer patient: Learn more about the 11th Annual Complementary and Alternative Therapies for Cancer Conference.

About Anne Fonfa

Anne was diagnosed with invasive lobular carcinoma of the left breast after she found a lump in January 1993, using a breast self-examination. She underwent a lumpectomy and had an axillary node dissected without her “informed” consent. It was in the first stage at that time.

Anne refused radiation because she had read papers that suggested there was no survival advantage. She was (and still is) chemically sensitive and was afraid to undergo chemotherapy. Her readings indicated that she had stage 1, slow-growing cancer (3.5% S stage) and was unlikely to benefit from this treatment.

She joined a support group in New York City at SHARE (2/93) – where she asked the women in the newly diagnosed group what she planned to do and when she mentioned alternative treatments she started a study group. This study group has met monthly since early 1994. Speakers are invited and topics of interest to the community of people with cancer are discussed. Many of the early reports for the Annie Appleseed Project arose from this.
