Sarah Svensk’s flight speed concept
Sweden’s Sarah Svenske is no newcomer to long-distance triathlon – with victories dating back to her triumph at the Ironman Barcelona in 2019 – but her top-10 finish at the Ironman World Championships last year represents a continued rise through the ranks of the sport.
Although she’s usually known for her strong runs (fourth in Kona last year, 2:56:29), it’s Svensk’s bike leg that can really impact the overall race outcome. Last year at Ironman Texas, Svensk was well behind the water (1:02:27), but she powered her way through much of the field at Ironman Texas, ending up in fifth place overall.

This year, Svensk has made some notable changes to its bike setup in hopes of making it onto the podium — including a new custom cockpit, an “ultra-light” wheelset from Netherlands-based company Scope, and rarely seen low-profile pedals from SRM that feature a noticeably lower ride height.
Keep your eyes peeled on 2026 Ironman Texas race tracker To find out where Svensk comes out of the water and How many people can she ride? On her custom painted horse. But until then, take a look at the video above (and the specs below) to learn more about how the Svensk’s equipment options translate to your own ride.
